CSXT 898
CSXT 898 working hard as it heads up the Gauley Branch towards the main line at Gauley. This train had 56 loaded coal hoppers and stalled just east of where I was standing. It took three attempts to make it up and over the trestle over the new river at Gauley. This was the first attempt. Afterwards, the train backed down the branch back to Gauley Bridge, WV where the locomotives detatched, and sanded various parts of the line before trying two more times, the third being successful. It was snowing quite heavily at the time and was about 17 degrees outside.

Josiah Bennett General Hey-no complaining lol. Around 6.30 that evening up in Keyser, WV, where I used to live, I was fighting a structure fire in 7 degree snowy weather lol. 11/15/2010 11:30:00 PM
