One of sveral locations on the BNSF referred to as "Absolute Alley" The West end of the San Bernardino Subdivision sports a number of Control Points in close proximity with no intermediate signals between the absolute signals. "Clear, Clear, and Clear" can be heard in the cab of Metrolink 873 as the next three signals are called out by crew members. Here Soto (MP 144.4), San Pedro Jct (MP 144.5), West Hobart (MP 144.7) and Hobart (MP 145.1) are all visible. |
