Description:  CSX started to go dead so my dad and I headed over to ND&W when we got to Defiance. Every engine that works on the ND&W was there except for PREX 3054. PREX 1606 is behind PREX 1603.

Description:  Maumee & Western's train encountered ice packed into the flangeways of a rural grade crossing and this is the result. Hulcher was onsite, assessing the situation. PREX 1601 is probably thinking that this is not the way to treat a genteel 63-year-old southern gal (she was built 11/51 as ACL 233).

Description:  We went into town to see what was going on in the ND&W yard. As we approached we saw a train backing down into the yard, but by the time we got to the yard they had finished their work for the day and were getting off the engine. Bummer, but we still got shots.
