Here is page one of a two-page camera study entitled "Pennsylvania's Mountain Types." It was published originally in the March 1943 issue of "Trains" magazine, page 4. Top Photo: Partially visible here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6759, an M-1A (4-8-2) "Mountain" built in Juniata in June of 1930 and retired in August of 1955. Bottom Photo: Shown here is PRR engine #6846, an M-1 (4-8-2) "Mountain" built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in September of 1926 and retired in August of 1955. Note the Head-End Brakeman riding atop one of the boxcars, six cars back.
