Here is an original photo by an unidentified photographer of Pennsylvania Railroad engine #1080, a G-5S (4-6-0) "Ten-Wheeler" built in Juniata during October of 1923 and retired in July of 1949 after 26 years of faithful service. Note that the bell, headlight, power reverse, and the main driving rods have been removed in preparation for scrapping. The exact date and the location are not recorded.
