Description:
This side view shows the massive length and sleek styling of the Lima built 2-10-2 Santa Fe type steam locomotive, Delivered in June of 1926 by Lima, it served the B&O well for nearly 33 years. In 1956, it was renumbered BO #530 to make room for new diesels being added to the roster. No date location or photographer was listed for the photo so approximates were used.

Another good example of a 1926 Lima built 2-10-2 Santa Fe type locomotive for the B&O. Specs - S-1a class, 64" drivers, 220 psi boiler pressure, 29.75x32" cylinders, engine weight of 436,810 lb, impressive tractive effort of 82,753 lb. No date, location or photographer given for the photo.
