On June 23, 1974, Canadian Pacific Montreal Locomotive Works RS-18 8770 prepares to move the equipment for the 1974 edition of the Canadian Pacific Display Train. The next stop is St. Luc yard and a trip to Calgary, Alberta on freight train 949. The display train also included CPR 4-4-0 steam locomotive number 144 but this had already left for Calgary aboard a flatcar. The 40-foot steel boxcar immediately behind 8770 is not part of the displfy train. |
